Phys_l'ers,
I'd need a good introductory physics text. It is to be used for a non-
science major course to be taught over the internet. The math
prerequisite is introductory algebra, i.e. high school level. I'd like
to find a book with a supporting web site for the student's use. Any
suggestions? Thanks,

Consider using the text put together by Glenbrook South High School
(Glenbrook is a suburb of Chicago).

I am impressed by the site, which is as detailed as any textbook, but also
includes animations and applets that make the topics much more interesting
and easier to understand.

I give the address to all my students, and they find it tremednously
helpful. If I thought that I could get away with it, I'd toss my current
text and use this one exclusively. Hmm... I wonder it they would like to
make a CD of the site that I could sell to my students?
