It's often remarked that modern investigators have no patience for
experiments on a long timebase.
I'm pleased to remind you that Tom Parnell, Brisbane professor of Physics
at Queensland was not numbered with these. His experiments with a model
fluid ten percent denser than water, and viscous enough to allow leisurely
measures of droplet size is reported here.
