Got it in one (literally) Herb!  And it is a single but interesting case, given that
our School doesn't just teach physics - as a result of an amalgamation we teach
courses like Medical Biophysics & Psychophysiology too.  No one here overtly
discriminates here against appointing female faculty members, from my experience, in
the way that Jim seems to think we are alleging in this discussion, and in fact they
have been very supportive in my particular case, lettting me work part-time.   However
I am still the only woman, in a faculty list of over 40.
