I add (can be inferred from other replies) that electrocution is lower here than in the majority of other countries because they have std. 220 supply, while we have 110 (actually we have 220, but only
(usually) 110 is at the outlets.) When I was a youngster, I watched an electrician using his calloused fingers to detect which wires were electrified (hot).
