The easiest way to do what you describe is:

(1) Prepare a message to  LISTSERV@LISTS.NAU.EDU

(2) The subject line will be ignored, you can leave it blank

(3) The body of the message should be  SET PHYS-L NOMAIL

(4) Send the message

When you return from your trip, repeat the process with
the message  SET PHYS-L MAIL
