I offer this one without comment, except to say that the correct answer was
declared to be B (I wouldn't have minded if they had simply cancelled the
question!):

This is controversial? This item should have appeared almost verbatim
in the course! B *is* the answer. The only thing wrong with the question
is that it asks for regurgitation of a memorized factoid.
