Re: Simple radio signal

The most simple radio receiver is a solid state diode (that costs a few
cents) hooked to an antenna and a pair of earphones. If you wish to get
fancy, substitute an audio amplifier and speaker for the earphones. All
of these items and booklets of easy to read directions are available at
your local Radio Shack store.

I want to create a simple demo of transmission & reception of radio

Any ideas? The spark from a VanDeGraf generator should send a
signal that
can produce a small spark at a receiver (simple antenna with gap).
How might
I construct this "receiver?

Thanks in advance.
