Fairly easily reproduced convection experiments (smoke in a box
http://idt.net/~ph/airbox.htm) seem to show energy storage and release
by a new mechanism. I've circulated this a little and so far folks
seem to be either left sort of dysfunctionally speechless, or filled
with rage(!) I must say it took several years to get used to the
idea
myself. The problem presented may be strange but I don't think it's
going away any time soon....
