Even in a interactive presentation, one needs to do something different
every seven minutes - like work a problem or do a demo.

The PER people know more about this. Dewey, comments???

I summarized a few resources on alternative activities to standard lectures
that could be carried out in regular lecture settings as part of a
presentation I made about a year ago. The presentation advocates short
experiments accompanied by analytical discussions, which I call seat
experiments. The presentation overheads are at:
