Pitch is that real sticky stuff that oozes out of pine trees.
Pitch is what I do to a tent before sleeping in it.
Pitch is how steep the roof is.
Pitch is what we do with horse shoes!


If 'pitch' can't mean frequency, we'd better outlaw the use of
'color' to describe visible spectral electro-magnetic radiation!

That thing the chorus leader toots on is called a 'pitch' pipe isn't it?
