Re: Ohm's Law

Regarding Van's question:
I have a question about dV/dI. ...
..... So what is dV/dI? You call it dynamic resistance, but how does it
differ from regular resistance, especially when the two numbers can be quite
different?

Thanks.

The value of dV/dI (dynamical resistance) is the resistance seen by small
signal AC fluctuations about the DC bias. That bias is found by the
intersection of the load line with the V(I) characteristic function (for
which the V/I quotient can be useful).
