The interpretation of the "collapse of the wave function", if in fact it
exists at all, remains highly controversial and the subject of a great
many profound papers in the physics literature (as well as many mistaken
ones). This is so even after the 65 years since the EPR "paradox" if
such it is, and Schrodinger's cat, came on to the scene.
SO I am dubious that one can prove anything by standing firmly on any
side of this question.
