Adiabatic cooling

Adiabatic cooling has everything to do with flow and nothing to do
with mixing.

Yep, changing the Subject: a bit.

Doesn't ALL mixing (of distinguishable particles) result in COOLING?!?!?!?!

I'm recalling a phrase 'Entropy of Mixing' which is often invoked
when discussing such cooling effects as the cryogenic He3-He4
dilution refrigerator.

(but NO, I'm NOT calling for further flaming on how the word entropy
must not be used unless we do a complete analysis of available
quantum states!)
