Any one else have usable poetry like this?

It's not poetry but in the "olden days" when drafting was done using
using India ink ruling pens and T-squares we used to tell the students to
imagine cutting a T-square in half like this:

----|----
| | |
| | |
| | |
| | |
| | |
--------- | ---------
| | |
------------|------------
Note that each half of the T-square resembles the letter L.
The letter, L, stands for the "length" of the displacement of an
accelerated
object starting from rest........ or more simply put....

L is equal to one-half a T-square

L = 1/2 a t ^2
