Position in Physics



The Department of Physics at Hollins University has a possible one-year,
non-tenure track position for an Assistant Professor, subject to approval
of funding, for the 1999-2000 academic year. The successful candidate will
be responsible for teaching both the non-calculus- as well as calculus
based physics courses during the regular terms and will offer a Short-Term
(4-weeks) course during January. Interested applicants must have a Ph. D.
in Physics, be dedicated to excellence in teaching, and be willing to
involve the students in undergraduate research. Applications including
