While eating lunch and doing other things that don't require full
concentration, I've gotten in the habit of trying to keep up with
physics teaching elsewhere by looking at physics department web pages
(probably a pretty common practice). To speed up return visits to these
pages, I started to keep a file of "shortcuts" to their addresses, to
bypass the layers of pages "above" them. Just recently I decided that
this list might also be useful to our transfer students and possibly to
high school students in our district who are looking for places to
continue or begin their study of physics, so I've posted the shortcuts
on a web page. Since more of my own students are in engineering rather
than physics, and since the division I teach in includes math as well as
physics and pre-engineering, I included those departments in the list
