Re: Going away?

There is less messaging involved in setting LISTSERV software to NOMAIL
and then back to MAIL. 1 message to turn it off, 1 message to turn it
back on.

If you unsubscribe and then resubscribe, most lists have a 2 or 3 step
confirmation process when you resubscribe. I am a member of several
lists, and going through resubscription and confirmation for every one of
them each time I take a break is more effort than I choose to exert.

Best wishes,

Larry

It is not necessary to unsubscribe from PHYS-L if you are going to be away

What is the difference? How would I perceive a difference? Why is
your method "better"? It seems like unsubscribing/subscribing works
fine. But maybe I'm missing something.
