Perhaps you mean something more like "Physics is the only science, all
the rest is stamp collection"  It was around the turn of the century and
was, as I recall, Rutherford.  Its a comment worth discussing, but not
very useable out of context, since it represents simple views of both
science and of stamp collecting.
