I work in a school-house environment. I drive to work past a
"gate-guardian"; in this case, a light twin used by the AirForce in a
transport role, and a
predecessor of the mighty C-5 transports - biggest in the west, also to be
found near here.
The twin sitting on its pedestal is noteworthy for its lightning protection.
It wears cunningly contrived halos of very fine spikes - easy to miss at a
glance - over the high spots: the ADF Antenna and the props.
