SCIENCE LABORATORY MANAGER AND SAFETY COORDINATOR. Individual needed to
provide support for the Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Environmental
Studies departments at Randolph-Macon College. Duties include overseeing
operation and maintenance of chemical stockroom and lab prep areas, serving
as purchasing agent, maintaining inventory, monitoring budgets,
coordinating hazardous waste disposal, maintaining laboratory equipment,
and preparing and dismantling demonstrations. A Bachelor's degree (B.A.,
B.S.) in the natural sciences (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related
area) is strongly recommended as well as technical experience in the area
