Re: amusement park physics for middle school

I put together some physics applications of roller coaster design, how to
teach some of the concepts/applications, and some labs ideas a while back. It
is located at
http://pen.k12.va.us/Anthology/Pav/Science/Physics/book/home.html

(I know it has a some typos. Don't flame me for them please. This summer I
will be adding much more to the web site as well as correcting those pesky
typos <grin>.)

If you use the site let me know what you think, what would like to see added,
and/or what area(s) you want to know more about. Or send your labs as an
attached e-mail and I'll post them on the site.

Has anyone done amusement park physics for middle school students? If
so, what did you do?
