Re: refrigerator

I can't remember exactly what was asked for. Inexpensive refrigerators use
fiberglass insulation while more effecient models use rigid foam. These materi
als are not unlike what is used in home insulation so R values for home insulat
ion should put you in the ball park. Just adjust for the thinner wall in a
refrigerator.

The freons are blends of stuff so you can't just look up freon in a handbook.
You need to know the specific blend. You might try the R & D group at some
large manufacturer. If they knew what you were doing they might cooperate.
In this country I'd try Hussman, in St Louis, MO. If a week from now you
still have no luck e-mail me again and I'll see if I can track down some
engineers at General Electric.
