Re: Divide error

On older than 486 INTELS, this usually means that you have HardWare FPU
selected but there is no FPU chip in place. If your CPU was supposed to
have on-boadr FPU, it does not currently recognize that it is there.

For Pentium CPU's, it almost certainly means that the FPU section of the
CPU has "gone south". Sorry!

Hey i realize this is for physics..but does anyone know what a divide
error is on an ibm when it is in the process of booting? It flashes
during the boot process but i cant seem to find anything wrong when its
running.
