John Mallinckrodt's report about his IP simulations of the process of
lunar synchronization is very impressive. Thank you. It really does show
how such simulations can aid (as opposed to substitute for) a deeper
understanding of the kinds of relevant physical processes involved when
they are done (and interpreted) well.
