The University of the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas campus) invites
applications for an assistant or associate level faculty in Physics, PhD
preferred. The appointment is for one year, but a tenure-track appointment
may become available at a later date. The applicant should have a record
of excellence in
undergraduate teaching. Teaching duties range from natural science for
non-science majors to senior level undergraduate physics. The University's
research-grade 16-inch reflecting telescope is located at nearby Etelman
Observatory, and UVI is a member of the NASA South Carolina Space Grant
program.
