Re: Shopping Spree

If you have Microsoft Word (from Office 95 or 97), it can be set up as your
e-mail editor. I know this works in the M$ incarnations but probably works
for Netscape as well. However, Outlook Express's built in editor is very
straight forware, behaves much like Word, has a spell checker (well actually
uses the one built into Word or Works--don't know what it does without other
M$ products), has an HTML mode for fancy formatting, can send imbedded gif
files, etc. Unless you are really doing something fancy, I don't think
you'd find that you would need or even want to work outside the built in
editor.

A related question: Do each of these require you to learn yet another text
editor, or do they *conveniently* allow you to use whatever editor you
already know and like?
