I suggest that it would be interesting to take the daily phys-l digests over
the past few years and feed them in to a little program that would do a
count of the key words that characterise the favourite recurring themes. The
word-count, plotted day by day, would show the rise and fall of these
threads and one could look for signs of periodicity and perhaps other
interesting phenomena.
