What is the reaction force to the centrifugal force and what body does it
act upon? Just curious.

There is none. Newton's third law of motion does not apply in a
noninertial frame of reference. Momentum is not conserved within
such a frame, either.

P.S. Leigh, thanks for putting together that data base of SNR's for Starry
Night. What a neat program!

It's Dave Green's database. I just formatted it for Starry Night.
Try doing the Neptune-Pluto distance calculation. You can get a
Neptune information window and a Pluto information window
simultaneously evolving at the same rate. Those guys at Sienna
Software really were clever when they made it possible to do
that. I urge every science teacher to play with Starry Night. It
is the best teacher of solar system mechanics I know.
