Now let me try again.
If I place warm air in the air path, I expect the indicated
distance to be reduced.
If I produce an air-mass movement either towards or
away from the sensor, I expect the indicated distance
to INCREASE!
(This suggests that Ludwik was running the hair-dryer hot...)
