Colleges and universities (especially smaller and private schools) find it
difficult to maintain books, journals, and other resources for their
physics programs . AAPT would like to be of assistance by developing a
list of recommended library resources (books, journals, indexes,
electronic databases) which members of the discipline consider
essential for supporting a physics major program at small colleges and
universities.
What library resources do you consider to be essential to maintain a
viable undergraduate physics program? If you would send your
responses directly to me (whein@aapt.org), I will compile the information
and put it on our Physical Sciences Resource Center web site
(www.aapt.org/psrc).
