The previous reminder also applies to preregistration for the workshops
at the AAPT 1998 Winter Meeting. That is, any workshop preregistration
that is physically received at AAPT by December 12 will be processed
prior to the meeting. All others will be processed on site. As an
example, a preregistration faxed on December 12 will be processed, a
preregistration sent by mail and postmarked December 12 will be
processed on site. The extended time allowance is to take into account
registrations that are mailed on December 5 but might not arrive at AAPT
until December 10.
It may be possible to register for some workshops on site on a "first
come-first serve" space available basis. There are no guarantees and
some workshops may be canceled if enrollments are not adequate.
