This one IS NOT Microsoft's fault. HTML is Hypertext Markup Language and is
a creation primarily for the WEB (and you'll recall that Bill G was a little
late on this one).

For list members, it is important that you check the program with which you
are composing your e-mail messages to see that it is set for 'plain text'
and not HTML. Such an option exists in Outlook Express (the 'free'
e-mail/newreader package that comes with M$ Internet Explorer 4.0) and I'm
sure in most of the other HTML ready e-mail packages.
