This coming weekend is Thanksgiving "up" here. I don't know the custom in
Alaska, which is even more north ;-> and yet a part of our good
neighbours to the south, but then they aren't on the Atlantic anyways and
hence not covered by the original question.

This thread is becoming much like that song from the mid 80's:
"What's Physics got to do, got to do with it ...." (or something like
that).
