This remined me a composition we had to write in high school. The purpose
was to comment on the pronouncment made by a philosopher (I do not remember
who). It was something like this. "A trully educated person tries to know
something about everything and everthing about something". Was it Voltaire?

Please let us know, if you can, who the philosopher was and post the
exact quotation.
