you don't have to wade through Bridgman; I'll give you an easier
reading assignment:
Just read paragraph 2-6 of Volume II of Feynman's "Lectures", entitled
"The differential equation of heat flow". And don't miss figure 2-7
("Heat flow through a slab") where arrows are labelled "heat flow". As
a homework exercise you are to re-write this paragraph on the diffusion
equation in your "Heat is done, Heat is NOT, Heat flows NOT"
terminology. Due now; quiz will follow!
