Students who want to study, NO MATTER WHY, are more desirable than those

educational situation, n'est pas? Will poor countries benefit from the
attitude of young people toward learning? That is a different subject.

I know of one market area where India's trained people are doing very
signicant business - and that is in software engineering.
It is well-known that there is an Indian tradition in the mathematical arts
(one is tempted to say, a propensity). This sort of skill is used when
Western companies sub-contract their software engineering developments to
Indian
houses. Of course there is an economic advantage to both parties, and the
product is easily transported by modem.
