Actually, early Pentium II's had mathematical difficulties. If you get an
offer on an early production chip, be suspicious. Intel has donated
flawed CPUs to two universities I have worked for.

We can only hope that this chip (and all of its faster siblings) can do
accurate floating point math (unlike some of their predecessors).
