somewhat akin to the claim that toilet water vortices
are caused by the Coriolis effect and go the other way in the
Argentine.


According to a friend, revolving doors in Australia turn in the opposite
direction to those in North America! (After he let that soak in for a bit,
he commented that people enter the buildings to the left, as in Britain and
other places where they also drive on the left.)
