PHYS-L, in digest format, is sent to my Naval Academy email address where
it is automatically forwarded to my AOL account emosca@aol.com. Most of
the time AOL creates an attachment to the message and places the digest in
an attachment file which I then download. AOL automatically does this
with email files that it judges as too long.
This morning I received PHYS-L digest 485, but I was unable to open the
downloaded file. A file that is supposed to be a text file that can be
opened by any word processor. This has happened once or twice before.
Has it happened to anyone else?
If you respond please email me directly at emosca@aol.com. Remember, I
cannot read the PHYS-L messages reliably until I get this problem solved.
Also, I would appreciate it if someone would tell me how to contact PHYS-L
so I can get them to send me another copy of digest 485.
