The bouncing acceleration of 19*g, reported this morning by Lowell, is
comparable to that of a tennis ball (when the speed before and after a
collision is 10 m/s and dt=0.1 second). Does anybody know the collision
parameters (speed and dt of the cocoon of air bags) for the Sejourner's
landing?
I assume that 9.8 m/s^2 was ment by Lowell.
