Thanks to those who have already replied on this. Leigh Palmer has
already given me a lead - I think it is the following reference:
Sadler, P.M. (1987). Misconceptions in astronomy. In J.D. Novak (Ed.),
Proceedings of the Second International Seminar on Misconceptions and
Educational Strategies in Science and Mathematics, Vol III (pp.
422-425). Ithaca, NY: Department of Education, Cornell University.
but I can't find it on the web anymore. Does anyone know how I would
contact P.M. Sadler?
This is definitely the most helpful listserver in the known universe!
Cheers
Margaret
