LABORATORY INSTRUCTOR IN PHYSICS
Concordia College, Moorhead, MN 56562
One year appointment with possibility of a second year term begins August
18, 1997 with workshop for new faculty. Applications will be received until
the position is filled. Responsibilities include setting up, teaching, and
grading reports for laboratory exercises in introductory physics (both
algebra- and calculus- based), physical science for teachers, and possibly
astronomy. Load is six laboratory sections, or one lecture and four
laboratory sections each semester. Qualifications include masters degree or
higher in physics, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and facility with
microcomputer interfaced measuring devices. Must be sympathetic with the
mission of a liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America. Salary $26,000 for nine months plus moving allowance and
$525 in faculty development funds. Send letter of application, CV,
