Wonderful! This sounds like a useful reference. Unfortunately some of us
teach in the boondocks where that Journal is not readily available? Could
you briefly summarize the gist of that article for us, at least where it
has something more than Dave Bowman and others have posted here?

The title is a clue that this little teaser problem has a long history.=20
I've seen it several places, but it was first brought to my attention many
years ago by an Engineering Professor who taught engineering
thermodynamics.=20
