If I wanted to drill students on remembering the color code for resistors
I could ask them to sing:
Black Brown RED 0 1 2
Or Yellow Green 3 4 5 Or --> orange
But Violet Gowns 6 7 8 But --> blue, Gowns --> gray
Were never seen. 9 Were --> white
I know it is silly but it can serve the purpose. As you can see, "never
seen" was added as a filler. Something with G and S would make a better
filler (for gold and silver rings, representing accuracies.) Any suggestion?
