Re: Physics Bibliography

There is a regularly updated document (I don't recall if it is a journal or
an annual publication) with a title something like "Recomended texts for
undergraduate libraries". It is used by librarians to make purchase
decisions, you may be able to get a reference librarian to track this down
for you. I used it several years ago when trying to get a figure for book
purchases for a proposed degree program (I wanted to know what we needed to
be up to date and how much it would cost).

Physics Today, (Dec 96), p.59 has a short bibliography of standard texts
for undergraduate physics. We are ordering those we don't have already.
