Re: No more BASIC for MAC?

True Basic (www.truebasic.com) provides a structured, compiled basic that
is much easier to use than Pascal, Fortran, C, C++. While the new Version
5 still has some bugs, you can get versions for WINDOWS (3.1,95, & NT), a
version for Macs (68000 & Power PC), OS2, and a variety of Unix systems.
The code is 90% or more transportable across these platforms (the only
sticky point being extensive use of graphics). I've been using the older
DOS and Mac versions for some time. Future Basic is much more like C or
Pascal for my taste but does provide for calls to the Mac Toolbox.
