It finally happened. A product which I first heard of in an April Fool's
joke has finally been developed. I quote from a national electronics
magazine which shall mercifully be nameless.
"The memory space ... is divided into three kinds of memory: random
access memory, read/write momory and write only memory."

This reminds me of an actual article in an 80s computer magazine
(Compute! or one of its competitors), which described a brand new "WORN"
feature inside my Atari computer (no, not the game machine...). This was
when the "Write Once Read Many" devices were being talked about. There were
very specific instructions on how to store a bit of information in the
computer permanently, but it could never be removed.

Now I write and don't read because there's too much to read...500+
email messages I've allowed to pile up! :(
