The supercaps have a significant internal resistance. I wonder what the
value
is for a 50F supercap? There is a nice blurb on the supercaps in a recent
TPT (this year).

The internal resistance of these things has not become an issue at the
level my students are confronting electricity in circuits. The value for
these new "Mega"Caps (shall we say) would be a matter of interest. But
Alex' original comment indicated a rather low resistance (0.005 ohms?).
