I was looking at the latest electronics magazines to postpone deciding
on grades when my eye caught the following latest news
-
New capacitor -- value 50 Farads yes 50 (no decimal point)
-
on the previous page, - a new resistor
specs: 1 watt ultar stable temco 20 ppm/degree value 0.005 Ohms
Having worked a while now with the 0.5 F SuperCaps, it has already occurred
to me that one of the first learning objectives about circuits (that one
_must_ have a complete circuit) is in serious question when with the 0.5 F
SuperCaps light allow the bulbs to light for 10 - 20 s. Now with a
capacity 100x this then the status of the "one _must_ have a complete
circuit" idea needs to be re-thought.
Wow, what a capacitor!
