Re: Run it like a business

I think I am most worried by running education like a business when I

There's also a fundamental problem with figuring out who is the
customer/employer. Students love to think of themselves as the customer.
But ask who is paying the bills. Certainly the public education system is
funded by and run for society at large. In many cases the distinction
will not be important, but the teacher is ultimately responsible to
society, not the individual student.

If a student insists on being seen as a customer, they are responsible for
paying for all services rendered. Send them to a tutor - myself for
instance.
